12" Octagon Carbon Steel Skillet (Hand Forged!)

Our 12” Hand forged octagon skillet boasts the largest cooking surface in the collection. This pans generous size is ideal for searing large roasts, multiple chicken breasts or steaks, or browning over 4lbs of ground meat. Superb for baking a gratin, shallow meat roasting, or pan pizza.

In a quest to reimagine the traditional skillet, we began forging polygon shapes. We quickly discovered that an octagonal-shaped skillet provides ambidextrous pour spouts at just the perfect locations, and looks modern and elegant on display in any kitchen. This pan is ideal for the chef that also enjoys baking; the eight-sided shape is perfect for portioning out cornbread, pizza, and other baked goods.

This skillet is available with an optional "helper-handle". 

Works on: induction, glass and coil electric, gas, open fire, in the oven, on the grill, in the smoker, and in the wood burning oven.
